Directions by Water

​Come by boat and enjoy the Old Brick Inn. Dock at at the St. Michaels Marina located a short 4 minute walk down Mulberry street.   As you enter the harbor between Markers #2 and #3, proceed straight ahead on a course of 230° Magnetic. They are the 2nd marina facility on the port (left) side, immediately in front of the Town Dock and Crab House Restaurants.

When can I check-in?

Check-in is between 3pm and 6pm. If you are early (noon-3:00), stop by the front desk to let us know you are in town. Even if your room is not ready, you can park with us and start your day. Not going to make it by 6pm? No problem! Just give us a call and we’ll walk you through our late check-in procedures.

Where do I check-in?

No matter which building you are stayingin, all guests check-in at the front desk located at 401 S. Talbot Street St. Michaels, MD 21663, inside the Wrightson Jones House.

What time is check-out?

Check out is at 11 AM but feel free to turn in your keys and stay parked with us to explore St. Michaels further.

Are there breakfast options for my special diet?

We are happy to accommodate any dietary needs. Please let us know of any special dietary restrictions with a phone call or an email a minimum of 48 hours before your arrival.

Do you require a deposit?

Deposits are not necessary for standard reservations, however we do reserve the right to require a non-refundable deposit for reservations that are made within our cancellation period, include a promotional package or are during special events.

Do you allow pets? 

We have one pet friendly room -the Bird of Paradise Cottage, featuring a king-sized bed, a Jacuzzi for two and its own private patio area, where your furry friend will find comfort too. There is a one-time fee of $75 for the extra cleaning.

Can I bring my kids?

In order to allow all guests a relaxating stay and to the opportunity to let their hair down without having to worry about little eyes and ears, the Old Brick Inn does not accept children. Young adults from 14 years old are welcome. Additional persons will be charged $75 per night, if room’s occupancy allows. All persons must be declared at time of booking.

Can I cancel my reservation?

 You may cancel your reservation at any time up to 15 days before your check-in date for a $25 processing fee. Should you cancel within 15 days of your check-in date, you will be charged the full amount. Cancellations are not accepted by email or voicemail; you must call and speak with the innkeeper to cancel. Afterwards, a verification email will be sent to the email address we have on file. 

Can I bring my own Wine?

The Old Brick Inn is required as a condition of our liquour license to prevent consumption of alcoholic beverages  that are not purchased on site, or risk penalties such as fines or revocation of our liquor license.  

Fortunately , the Old Brick Inn has an extensive, ever-evolving wine list. With a one week lead time we would be happy to accomodate  any special requests for a wine we do not currently have in stock.
